LED Bulkheads | Wall-mounted luminaires
LED Bulkheads are wall- and ceiling fixtures that are frequently used to light staircases and hallways. You can recognize them by their round shape and they can be obtained in different light colours. LED bulkheads can be used as emergency lighting, if there is a emergency lighting unit. It will then stay turned on during light loss. The duration that they can stay on in the event of a light failure depends on which LED bulkhead you choose. For example, there are LED bulkheads that will stay on for 1 hour and some can provide emergency lighting 3 hours long. Read more about these fixtures below.

What types are there?
LED bulkheads at Budgetlight, also known as wall and ceiling lights, have a neutral design; ideal for general areas such as stairwells, storage sheds and under canopies.
What are the benefits of LED ceiling lights?
Our LED integrated bulkheads are available with various functions: motion sensors, daylight sensors, an emergency lighting unit (1 or 3 hours) and/or a dimming option. In addition, there are (splash)waterproof variants for outdoors, you save 70% energy and have lighting for years.
Which waterproof fixture should I choose?
That depends on the degree to which the LED bulkhead is exposed to moisture. If you mount the fixture under a canopy or carport, a splashproof (IP44 / IP54) version is sufficient. An IP65 / IP66 fixture is better if the light source comes into contact with precipitation.
Does an LED bulkhead provide a lot of light?
At Budgetlight, you will find LED bulkheads with a light output of 600 to 3550 lumens. This brightness is sufficient to provide a room with general lighting. Depending on the size and function of the room, you will need to install several ceiling lights.
How to mount a ceiling light?
First switch off the power. Then unscrew the shade of the ceiling light to attach the wires of the power network and/or the light to the connector. After this, mount the fixture to the ceiling using the materials provided. Finally, put the shade back on, switch on the power and off you go.
