Every bulb or fixture has an energy efficiency class A to G. Energy label A is the most efficient and G the least. LED lighting is the most sustainable lighting technique. To motivate LED brands to get even more durable.

The technology indicates the operating base of a light source. The most well-known and energy-efficient example is LED. Other techniques include Halogen, gas discharge, TL (fluorescent) and the light bulb.
This indicates which wattage of your old/conventional lighting is replaced by this LED product.
Lighting with a voltage of 220-240 Volt can be connected directly to the mains. Lighting with a different mains voltage (12 Volt and 24 Volt) requires an (electronic) transformer.
The wattage indicates how much energy a light source consumes. With LED lighting, the wattage is considerably lower than with conventional lighting. LED lamps with a higher wattage generally also have a higher light intensity (number of lumens).
When you dim lights, the full power does not have to be used. You therefore save extra on energy costs. Dimmable lamps can also be used to create an extra cosy atmosphere. Keep in mind that you need a LED dimmer to dim LED lights.

The cap/base of a bulb is the part that connects it to the socket in the fixture. In the UK, B22 (Bayonet) caps/bases are still the most popular, although E27 (Edison screw) caps/bases are becoming increasingly popular. GU10 is the most common cap/base for spotlights. Check which cap/base you need carefully as many other types are also available.

The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
|Colour Rendering (Ra)
Colour rendering is also known as Colour Rendering Index (CRI) and indicates the extent to which a light source reproduces colours, compared to the actual colours in daylight. Products with a good (80-89 Ra) or excellent (90-99 Ra) colour rendering show minimal deviations in the colour spectrum.
|Luminous Flux (Lumen)
The number of lumens (lm) is the light output of a light source. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the light source emits. The wattage and the number of lumens are not connected to each other. An LED lamp with a low wattage can have a higher number of lumens than a conventional lamp with a high wattage.
|Lumen per watt
The Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) indicates how efficiently a light source uses energy. We divide the number of lumens by the wattage. The higher the number, the more efficient a product is in terms of energy consumption. LED lighting has a considerably higher lumen/Watt ratio than conventional lighting.

The Osram Parathom LED E14 Tubular Special Matt 2.3W 200lm - 865 | Replacer for 20W is an ideal replacement for conventional incandescent bulbs and halogen spots. Due to the low use of energy, you will save a lot on your energy costs! By using LED technology, these LED bulbs by Osram only have to use a small part of the wattage (2.3W) that the conventional bulbs (20W) use to achieve the same light intensity. Their excellent energy label (F) indicates that the Osram LED bulbs are very eco-friendly and that they can be recycled after use. However, because they last so long (15000 burning hours), you will not have to worry about this for a long time.
The Osram LED bulb has the well known and much used E14 screw base. Due to them being very easy to screw in to a fixture, the installation of the LED bulb is very easy.
