The Philips LEDspot LV Value GU5.3 MR16 5.5W 830 60D MASTER | Dimmable - Replaces 35W is the energy-efficient replacement of the conventional GU5.3 halogen spot. This GU5.3 LED spot by Philips has an average lifespan of 25000 hours. This means you’ll be able to enjoy the light for a long time! On top of that, the Philips LED spot with a GU5.3 base uses far less energy than its conventional counterpart. Where the halogen version uses up to 35W, this Philips GU5.3 only has to use 5.5W to achieve the same light intensity. You will therefore immediately notice this with your energy costs.

This Philips LED lamp comes with a GU5.3 base. This means that there is a 5.3mm distance between the two pins. The Philips GU5.3 LED spot works with 12V. This means you will need a transformer to connect it to the power network. You can check out our transformers here.

Nice warm white shade. Good quality replacements for 2 x 10 (previously halogen) spots in house. No flicker with 1 dimmer switch, flicker with the other when on full power. Saying this as a general householder for awareness - I know this is a switch/transformer not the bulb but I guess many people aren't building a new home and are not electricians who think nothing of updating every component in the house. Even dimmable LEDs may not give desired effect as simple replacements when going for effciency savings. .
