For an energy-efficient version of the R7s halogen bulbs, LED R7s capsule bulbs are the right fit. These linear tube shaped LED bulbs have caps on both ends and fit due to their compact size in small fixtures. Due to the fact that R7s capsule bulbs work on 230V, they can be directly connected to the power network. You therefore don’t have to worry about transformers. LED R7s capsule bulbs can sometimes save up to even 90% energy! You will notice it directly with your energy costs. Due to the longer lifespan, the maintenance costs are lower as well. Despite all these savings, the R7s LED bulb still has a very high light quality. The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
